Most multivitamins compete on the length of the label. MultiHD was built around a different question: not how many nutrients are listed, but what form each one is in. A nutrient your body cannot readily absorb or convert is a line on a panel, not a benefit.
Calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, potassium, boron and copper are all Albion amino acid chelates — minerals bound to amino acids rather than to the oxides and sulfates that fill most multivitamins. Chelated minerals are absorbed more readily and sit better in the stomach. They also cost considerably more, which is why they are the first thing cut from a cheaper formula.
Folate here is L-5-MTHF, the methylated form the body uses directly, rather than synthetic folic acid — which a meaningful share of people convert poorly. B12 is methylcobalamin rather than cyanocobalamin. Thiamine is benfotiamine, a fat-soluble form that absorbs better than thiamine HCl. These are the same nutrients other multivitamins list, in the forms that skip a conversion step.
Vitamin K2 is MenaQ7, a branded menaquinone-7 — the long-acting form of K2 — and it sits alongside vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol rather than the weaker D2. The two work together, and pairing them is a deliberate choice rather than a coincidence of the ingredient list.
There is no iron in MultiHD. Most men and most athletes are not short of it, iron accumulates rather than clearing easily, and supplementing it without a measured reason is not neutral. If you need iron, it should be dosed against a blood test. Leaving it out is a decision, not an omission.
